"Very nice, probably high-end hotel with beautiful garden and great breakfast, but the room amenities were surprisingly basic. There was no lotions in the bathroom, and to me, that was disappointing because I counted on them. For the price, I assumed that lotions were provided. And the fridge was empty. I guess a lot of people left without paying for the drinks. Staff were nice but a few of them were not so friendly or helpful. I was surprised that they didn’t even offer to take my luggage to the room or even to the elevator. The location is convenient; 30 minutes train ride from Haneda. Better take the free shuttle from Shinagawa Prince hotel because it’s on top of the hill. Overall, the place was nice but I may not choose again unless there’s a really good deal on the price."

"The location of the hotel directly across Shinagawa Station was really great. The staff were also very cordial and helpful. Our room however was small, and it smelled of smoke. The carpet has cigarette burns in it and some of the shower tiles were cracked. They need to replace the carpet and maintain the room a little better."

"The rooms were clean and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was close to everything. Travelling with our older kids was easy since they could jump onto the train and go anywhere with ease."

"Central location close to the shinagawa train station, shops and restaurants nearby. Excellent staff and service. Best amenities. Toiletries, slippers and pajamas provided and replenished daily. "

"I stayed at this hotel in Tokyo and would give it a solid 4 stars. The rooms are on the smaller side, which is pretty typical for Tokyo, but they were clean, cozy, and comfortable. That said, they can feel quite tight if you have large luggage. Thankfully, there is a luggage storage area near reception, which is very helpful. One thing to note is that amenities like toothbrushes, razors, and other essentials are self-serve at the reception area rather than provided in the room. There’s also no bottled water in the room—instead, there’s a jug you can use to fill up water from another floor. It definitely has more of a “do-it-yourself” style setup. That said, the staff were very kind and helpful, which made the stay more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a good option if you’re okay with a more self-service experience and want a comfortable place to stay in the city."
