Good grief! You rated us down because we didn't have a commercial ice machine? How was the room, the bed, our cleanliness, the WiFi speed? We do have ice in the freezer in our motel lobby. We don't have a big, commercial ice machine because you can't easily get them repaired way up here in Ironwood, Michigan! The closest tech charges a 3 hour trip charge! We do, however, have plenty of ice in our lobby! Thanks for staying with us! I do hope the accommodations were to your liking!

I take issue with everything you've said. Yes, our motel is older, but spotlessly clean and everything is in good working order. I don't know any motels in town that maintain all of their rooms at 70 degrees 24/7. It's just not cost-effective. Same for the fridges. Motels just won't leave their room refrigerators on 24/7 either. You need to stay somewhere else next time, and pay much, much more for the "latest and greatest."

First, you didn't even stay at our motel. You made a reservation, and brought a puppy with you. We do not take pets. That's stated on our Expedia web-page. I tried to recommend an alternate motel for you to stay at. You were not charged anything. Second, how can you "rate" our motel if you didn't even stay here? I'm sorry that you "blame" us for not accepting pets, but I tried my best to provide alternatives, and to help cancel your reservation, cost free.

Thank you for staying with us. Of course our motel is an "older" one. It was constructed in 1968, but is in wonderful condition. Our rooms are a bit higher priced than other mom & pop motels. However, ALL of our rooms are larger in size, and each have 2 Queen sized beds. The mom & pops have smaller rooms and 1 or 2 smaller beds. In order to get a "nicer" motel room with the most modern facilities in Ironwood, expect to pay 40 to 70 MORE per night at the larger chain motels.

Thanks for staying with us! Yes, we can never get electronic locks. With outside entrances on most rooms, the snow, ice, and rain would ruin them quickly. If someone reserves a room on-line, there is the ability to choose the floor that you want on; 1st or 2nd floor.
