「I wish I would have known to ask for a room with a lake view」

「We were surprised at how much we enjoyed staying there. It wasn’t just a hotel room. It was a “home base” where we could decompress peacefully in a comfortable room from the adventures we had through the day! The staff were amazing. This will definitely be the place we stay when we come to Ashland! (We’ve stayed at other places in Ashland but this one we’ll come back to!)」

「Very clean facility, excellent breakfast!」

「The room was exceptional and so was the view. Awesome design of room and shower」

「We were looking for a low budget room just for the night. We were impressed with how newly renovated and updated it was. It was small but had what we needed including coffee and snacks. It is right by the road so keep in mind that the traffic can be heard throughout the night. Would happily sleep here again.」

「It's a lovely location on Lake Superior.」

「Loved it very much, My friend and I arrived very late in the night, thought it could be a issue to clock-in, while they left us the key in envelope which ensure us to enter the room. The staff are super friendly and nice, the rooms are clean, I would definately recommend this place」

「The cottage looks nice in photos and they do keep it as clean as they can; however, it is very rundown. We were bothered by the strong smell of fabric softener (gives us migraines) and mildew. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom narrow and dark, and overall, we just had “the creeps” the whole time. So much so that we left early. Honestly, we expected more for the price. You can find better options in the area for what we paid.」

「Clean, quiet…easy check in. Great communication pre check-in. Beautiful setting/area. Will be back…」
