「This is a lovely boutique hotel that is newly renovated to take advantage of the unique caves in Matera. There is a beautiful view over the gorge. We spent 3 nights here and the lovely owner spent time with us each day curating a perfect itinerary for seeing Matera. There was free parking nearby. The room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was good. It’s about a 10 min walk into the main part of town, but it’s nice to be on the edge with the view and it’s super quiet. 」

「少有人第一次到義大利就到過Matera，就是這個念頭，我們風塵僕僕地來到這裏，只因這裏有Sassi文化遺產，還有附近的 Trulli。老實說，Sant' Angelo不好找到，reception的地點有改變過，我們費了好久時間，ㄧ直到現在，我們還是擔心會不會誤闖了ZTL？見到洞穴屋的第一個感覺只有「哇」，很興奮，也很驚奇，甚至馬上跟台灣的好友ㄧ家人FaceTime分享。裡面很乾淨，浴室的水柱也很強，真的要挑剔的是床和棉被都有小小粒的砂子，但這是難免的，洞穴屋不就是這樣嗎。飯店內沒有免費停車，這跟訂房時Hotels.com上寫的不同，代客泊車的費用記得是26歐。請記得提早一小時前order取車，因為動作真的很慢。洞穴屋的本身真的很棒，值得親自體驗。」
