"Clean, comfy, unique, wonderful breakfast, friendly staff. Spa was refreshing and a cool experience set in a cave. Would definitely stay again. The only thing that was difficult was finding the parking, but eventually we were lucky enough to run into the shuttle van which had us follow him to a parking spot. Parking seems to be troublesome with many of the old town experiences."

"Gattini bills itself as a 5 star hotel. My partner and I would not normally pay the extra amount that that 5th star seems to require, but we were desperate to have a refuge from the August heat in Matera at the end of the day … and staying at Gattini was a great decision. It really is quite wonderful and didn’t seem so expensive once we experienced all the good things that Gattini offered. The breakfast was the best we had in 51 days of travel in Spain Portugal and then Italy. Our thanks to the great staff for a great experience in Matera."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and always willing to help, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, with a great variety of delicious options to choose from. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay."
