"This hotel is exceptional. The views are stunning; the staff is outstanding; and the amenities include a heated outdoor pool with food and beverage service, an indoor pool and hot tub, an arcade and an adorable coffee shop right in the lobby. The best part, though, is the veranda seating where you can read a book or sit with friends and family for drinks and apps with unbelievable scenery. We highly recommend the Omni Mt. Washington!"

Swiss Chalets Village Inn

"I was very pleasantly surprised by the Swiss Chalet Village Inn. We had a lower level room with a king-size bed. The room was quite small, but still managed to fit a chair by the window, full-sized desk, TV, and decent-sized refrigerator and microwave (that was a nice surprise). The room was spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a full bathtub and shower. The air conditioner worked well, and the windows were new and well insulated. Sadly no Swiss decor -- the interior is standard American. The larger rooms on the upper levels are probably preferable in the summer because of the balconies. The lower rooms have windows open to the parking lot (not a complaint -- that's just the nature of a motel!). We used the pool very briefly before we heard thunder. Very clean, nicely maintained, and actually gets deep. There were a couple of grills and picnic tables on the grounds. I was quite happy with the free breakfast -- make-your-own waffles, sausages, scrambled eggs, cereal, yogurt, packaged pastry, and fruit (apples, bananas, and oranges). The buildings are not new, and despite, the charming Swiss-style architecture, it is very much a motel, so if you're looking for a new, modern hotel, this is not your place. However, it more than met my expectations for the price, and it's a very pleasant setting with a huge field and a view of the mountains. I saw many people sitting outside in the chairs in front of their rooms enjoying the view."

"I spent two nights with my teenage kids at this property and we have enjoyed our time there tremendously! If you are looking for modern, sleek, chic and anonymous like all the chain hotels, this is not your hotel. However if you want to have a feeling like you are coming home, this might be just the property for you! My niece walked into the hotel and said it feels like staying with the grandparents...and she was absolutely right! This property is not a modern and anonymous hotel where you do not speak to people and deal with a lot of different staff. What you will find however is a friendly, family owned business where both owners have put in so much work and so much detail. There are games, toys, books and DVD's galore! The owners will be there during breakfast (actually making the eggs and waffles for you!) in the morning and tell stories about bears in the neighborhood and their family while sitting at the fire pit making smore's and socializing with other guests. The breakfast was amazing. We actually chose this property because everyone was raving about their waffles and their breakfast and I have to say people were not exaggerating. My teens also loved the game room with the ping pong table (among other things). We did not try the pool but looked at it and it looked clean and well kept. The room, while not furnished in a modern style, was clean, had free wifi, a TV, fridge, A/C and a DVD player. It was like going to visit your grandparents and it was perfect!"
