Warm and friedly atmosphere. A family like atmosphere. Donna, Doug are wonderful proprietors and maintain a beautiful and charming classical 200 plus year home and B&B. My wife and zI have been twice and look fotward to a third and.... we highly recommend.

Perfect Weekend for the 4th

We had an amazing stay with Donna and Doug, they were fabulous hosts with a beautiful home that had a clean pool and hot tub. The breakfast was delicious, and they went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend staying here if you want somewhere that has a great location in the North Conway area.

Amazing experience at Buttoned Inn

Had truly amazing experience at this Inn which is very tastefully decorated in traditional setting. Delicious gourmet breakfast. Very clean and beautiful place. We really appreciate the warm hospitality of the couple Bill and Paula. Had a very comfortable stay! Highly recommended.

We had a memorable experience and stay at this family-friendly bed and breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and well suited for traveling with kids, and the inn itself was beautifully decorated. While the space feels historic, it’s elevated by creative, curated décor—including a charming winter-themed village along the walls that made the whole place feel like a Hallmark movie. The highlight of our stay was breakfast by Chef Liz. As a culinary chef, she focuses on seasonal menus, and every meal was a refined with sophisticated comfort in mind. We also loved the warm, welcoming family who runs the inn—they truly made us feel at home. The location is perfect in winter, with a sledding hill and ice skating pond a short walk away. Overall, this is a wonderful choice for families looking for unique dining, cozy charm, and easy access to winter fun. Can’t wait to return.

AMAZING! Me and my boyfriend stayed 3 nights and were skeptical about staying at an inn since were from NY we’ve never stayed in one before but now the bar is set high! The property was quiet and so cute! The room was cozy, clean and the perfect size for the two of us in the morning and at night since we were out for most of the day. They gave us free breakfast which was delicious all home made and everything tasted so fresh! Over all it was amazing so cozy and homey I would love to come back and stay again if we visit NH again! If your in the area definitely check this place out!

Hosts were very opening and welcoming…very special people. We loved the tranquility and coziness (and cleanliness of course) of our room and the inn in general. The room was also very quiet, often not our experience with inns - no thin walls or neighboring thumps. All that and a wonderful breakfast each morning. What a bonus! We also enjoyed the proximity to hiking trails, and if shopping is your thing, plenty of that nearby. We’ll definitely will be returning!!

The owners were welcoming. The property was very well kept, decorated nicely and plenty of useful information. The outdoors had a few different sitting areas as well as a pool. Nice loungers on the porch. On a quiet road about 7 minutes from downtown N Conway. Our room (#9) was spacious for a B&B. Private bathroom, queen size bed and what we believe was a Murphy bed (didn’t use it). Small tv with streaming apps. AC, 3 windows. Ceiling fan (we either couldn’t figure out how to turn it in or it doesn’t work. We didn’t need it so we didn’t ask). There’s a refrigerator with freezer down stairs your welcome to use to store any beverages. Glassware is provided. Lovely home cooked breakfasts. Would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at The Buttonwood Inn over President's Day weeknd! We went XC skiing in Jackson and this was perfect place to stay. The breakfast each morning was just perfect to fuel us for our skiing. Donna and Doug were amazing. I felt like I was staying at my home.

My wife and I have been coming to the Buttonwood for over 25 years, it has become a bit of a tradition for us. The new owners are doing a great job, Donna and Doug made us feel welcome and the breakfasts were delicious. The inn is away from the bustle of North Conway but close enough to access the town and all it has to offer. A great place to stay at any time of year.

The Inn was clean and in good shape. We were disappointed in the size of our room and the "mountain view". One of the two chairs in the room was very well worn and not comfortable at all.

Wonderful Stay

What a magical experience at the Buttonwood Inn. The property is breathtaking and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and the room was simple but had everything we needed for a getaway that prioritized being outside. Bill and Paula were both wonderful, and the breakfasts and afternoon treats were AMAZING. Popular hiking trails were less than a mile away. I was surprised at how crowded downtown North Conway was even during covid. We happily picked up takeout and came back to the inn to enjoy our secluded stay. Highly recommend. We hope to be back.
