We had a wonderful stay at Residenza Il Colle. Everything was just perfect, starting with the reception when Claudia was very cordial and made us feel so welcome, to the breakfast that was incredibly copious and delicious, the magical views of Florence and beyond, the rooms were spacious, clean and beautiful, and of course the property is pristine and impeccably landscaped along with a gorgeous infinity pool to cool off after beautiful days of sightseeing. All in all just such a memorable and magnificent stay.

"Charming Tuscan Villa with Stunning Pool and Grea

A beautiful villa with a stunning pool area. The clear highlight of the place is the beautiful pool. Plants and flowers surround it, and you can enjoy views of Tuscany’s picture-perfect valley. The villa itself is cozy and full of charm. Everything was spotless, and the garden has several tables and chairs where you can sit and enjoy, for example, a glass of wine. The service was excellent! You were even given a phone number where you could send a request to have small bites and drinks brought to the pool (even though they didn't have offical bar). In my opinion, the value for money was fair. You can also walk into the town of Impruneta in 15–20 minutes, which makes the location even more enjoyable.

Peaceful retreat

My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to rest near Florence. We feel very blessed to have found Residence II Colle. Everything was special the moment we arrived. The classic Tuscan vista, the accommodation, the staff, the food and people of Tuscany were all wonderful. We will return again for a longer visit to explore all of Chianti. Thank you!

Everything was amazing. Sabina was very kind and gracious. She gave us tips and accommodated us last minute. The property was extremely well kept and relaxing that we wished we were able to stay an extra day or two to soak it all in. You have views like no other perfect for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Quaint and tranquil, we would definitely stay here again. Best bed and breakfast we have stayed while in Italy rooms are clean and updated without losing the Tuscany essence of the region. Loved it!

Upon arriving at the Residenza Il Colle, we were taken back by the stunning views. What a location ! Upon arrival the staff were super friendly and welcoming and after a quick tour we were left to ourselves. The pool is stunning and relatively quiet and gets the sun all day and evening but there are umbrellas. The accommodation puts on a nice breakfast from 0800-1000 and then you can have snack and drinks from 5pm which is great and if you ask nicely you can get a cheeky Aperol in during the day ;), they have a whatsapp service with wifi everywhere to its easy to contact them. Our room was quite big with a huge window facing the view and courtyard. The hotel is located about 30 mins by taxi from Florence. We didnt have a car but the walk into Impruneta was very easy and takes about 18 -20 mins. We dined in Impruneta every evening and everytime it was brilliant. For 2 adults this was perfect for our 4 nights in Tuscany. Thank you to Residenza Il Colle (Sabina, Claudia, and the amazing drinks man!) highly recommend.

Overpriced

I think this place is overpriced. The good things were the location, surroundings and amazing view. Place is very clean and the staff is nice but the quality of the service is not that great. Air con didn't work, and you couldn't leave the window open because of the insects. The worse was that in our room we could've heard people and noise from the next room like we were in the same room. The breakfast and coffee was very disappointing as well, very poor.

Beautiful villa and pool, but rock-hard bed

Friendly reception keen on selling products from Fattoria Inalbi (same owner). Fantastic pool with beautifully maintained garden and views over the rolling hills of Tuscany. Room is clean and stylishly furnished with expensive looking materials. What prevents me from coming back are the small (only 190cm long) and uncomfortable beds; the mattress was one of the hardest I have ever slept on.

Quelle bonne surprise cet hôtel ! Le cadre est idyllique, avec un jardin magnifiquement entretenu et décoré, une vue sur les collines toscanes comme sur les cartes postales, et une piscine très agréable. Nous étions dans un appartement avec 2 chambres, qui communique directement sur le jardin. Le personnel est attentionné, la seule chose à savoir étant que la réception n'est pas toujours ouverte, et que pour une arrivée tardive il vaut mieux téléphoner avant.. Bref, un petit coin de paradis !

Absolutely gorgeous property with views of Tuscany and beautiful grounds to explore. Room was not great though as the sink was leaking from the base so the floor got a little flooded and the shower would only work super scorching hot so we had to take 2 min showers to avoid burning ourselves. Breakfast also missed the mark with machine produced coffee. When I tried to make a latte it added water instead of milk. The gorgeous scenery though made it good value for money though given we’d booked a smal room.

Our room was in a classic Tuscan villa on a hill overlooking beautiful scenery in every direction. The villa offered a pool and beautiful grounds with well maintained gardens. The staff was helpful, friendly, and personable answering our questions and giving us helpful directions about the surrounding area and attractions. The accommodations were clean, attractive, and abundantly charming, and the location provided an ideal base for day trips to surrounding areas such as Florence and other nearby attractions. The nearby town of Imprunetta was charming with good dining and provisioning. Overall an excellent experience that we would highly recommend.

Amazing views in the heart of Tuscany

Great hotel with fantastic views. Room 10 was a bit small but the terrace made up for it. Decent breakfast but avoid the coffee out of the machine. Just as a warning, front desk is not maned after 6pm but owner is on site to sort out any issues.
