"The hotel's access is a bit mysterious. When we reached to the correct place to check-in, we were introduced to the staff at that moment who made us feel that we are a burden on them. We arrived earlier than our check-in time and we were okay with waiting for the start of check-in time. However, we were also curious if we could do early check-in, and when we asked for availability, the staff working at that moment first showed horrific emotions as if we asked for something impossible, and then they started mumbling in their own native language. Whenever we were trying to have a conversation with them, they always cut us off and spoke too fast as if they have no time and they have to catch a train. After some time when they found a room for us to check-in early, they acted as they are doing a favour on us. All in all it was a very bad experience and it ruined our excitement to explore Manchester."

"I was there for two nights for a conference. The restaurant, the bar and breakfasts were all very smoothly and expertly presented, managed and stocked. The room very comfortable and clean. Great shower and amazing bed! Needed nothing "

"Had a lovely stay at the Townhouse Hotel. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was a bit too soft for my liking. Quite noisy from outside but it is right next to pubs/bars. Heard the pub emptying bottle bins in the early hours. Rebecca on reception was lovely at checkout. Asked if we wanted to keep our bags there for a little longer if we were going into the town. Super thoughtful."

"Our room had only one window but lots of lights. Still felt dark. The space was very well laid out with enough surfaces to put our stuff as well as hooks and lots of hangers. There was a full kitchen including dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer. The bathroom was small but the shower was large. There is a Tesco Express across the street and plenty of pubs, cafes, bars within a few blocks. We walked from the hotel to Islington Marina and Piccadilly Gardens and more. Piccadilly station is 10 minutes on a pedestrian only street. Do check out nearby Mayfield Park."
