Very lovely stay,lovely staff but rushed off their feet so lacking the personal touches. Area around the hotel very unsafe for me as I felt I was being watched by homeless people in and around the hotel. I have stayed most years in the Britannia hotel around this time. I don't think I would return due to the reasons outlined.

Central property, lovely building , dated but it didn't matter for our one night stay in the city. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Downside, if your staying in the summer ,a free standing fan was provided in the room but I missed air con .
