the Conrad is one of the very best 5 star hotels that I have stayed in. The views overlooking Tokyo Bay and Hamarikyu gardens are great. The hotel is a short walk to Hamarikyu garden and the Sumida river water bus. The fish market is nearby. The hotel sits above Shiodome subway station and communicates underground with Shimbasi station.

Wonderful free "light" breakfast, which was all you can eat freshly made delicious bacon, eggs on the wet side which appears very common here in Japan, noodles, yogurt, milk, mixed fruit, pastries, toast coffee, espresso, juice/soda machine with Coke, Coke zero, energy drinks, Minute Maid OJ... I mean are you kidding? You had access to all those beverages from 6am to 10pm, the area doubled as a quiet lounge after breakfast. Read, use a workstation, whatever you wanted.
