「Staying at hotel America was like staying in a Soviet era tower block in Moscow in the 1970s. My room was very cold and I had to request heating to be put on. Even with the extra (old and grubby) blanket I was cold all night. The room has probably not been updated since the building was constructed so the bright blue bathroom suite with missing plugs was like something from the 1970s. 「I was so happy after our long flight from Hong Kong. We were able to stay in a beautiful hotel during our trip. We don't often have the opportunity to see these gorgeous views and experience the unique atmosphere in HK. My family and I stayed at the hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. It was an amazing experience. We were able to enjoy the 24-hour minibar, which made us very happy. I am really looking forward to coming back again someday.」

「The owner, Jordi, and his staff went out of their way to help me. He gave me a ride from the train station to his nearby restaurant, where I had a fantastic dinner. Then he dropped me off at the hotel. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The front desk attendant was kind enough to drive me to the bus stop for my journey to Barcelona. I was most grateful to be spared a long walk. Muchisimas gracias a todos!」

「Everything was exceptionally great for the price, great access to city and local area. Staff and locals were helpful and polite. Only note is kitchen/breakfast is closed on Saturday’s or weekends depending on booking capacity. Overall great place for budget friendly get away highly recommended.」

「The most unique stay near barcelona. If you need somewhere quiet and away from the city its perfect. The entire property is impeccable. The owners and staff are very attentive to your needs, they speak multiple languages as well. They offer breakfast and dinner so you don’t have to worry about food/where to eat. The food options are amazing everything we ate was so delicious, literally mouth watering. There is a spa you can book ahead of time. I can’t wait to come back it was the most beautiful...

「Such an amazing Gem of an hotel! Room was amazing.. food was out of the world! They use all local produce high quality ingredients no wonder they have Michelin star for consecutive ten years ! Out of the world dessert which you can’t find even in main Barcelona.. room was spacious and clean… they had cycling and beautiful ambience. They arrange taxi on request… overall it was an amazing stay and one of a kind experience 」
