"I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Tahquitz Pines Retreat was the best getaway. Front office staff was so friendly and polite. My room was clean and prepared earlier than expected before check-in time and I like that they went of out their way to turn on the heater for me. The property is well lit up at night, clean, offered a gym and pool and a fire pit. It was peaceful, cozy, and I think from now I’ll be only book and Tahquitz Pines Retreat. "

"The properties was clean and we were happy that the gym was upgraded from our last visit. The pool was hot and the hot tub was hot enough."

"Pool/ hot tub area that we were at was great. Room had everything we needed and what wasn’t there staff brought right away. Only complaint was stairwell had the same garbage in it during our entire stay. "

"So this place has a lot of potential without a lot of work. I think they are severely under staffed. We stayed a week and never got our room cleaned once even though we asked for it once only. The hallways and general areas are dirty. Getting a drink at the pool bar is a 30 min wait. Maybe a little planning or more staff would elevate this issues."

"Front office staff was super welcoming. The 2 bed cabin was perfect, no complaints. We like this property not only because it’s very clean but close to shops and restaurants."

"The lobby and dining room are modern and bright, but the halls are dark and dingy with old stained, wrinkled carpeting that invites trip and fall accidents. The kitchen offers good hot breakfasts, take out dinners and bar service. Kitchen staff is cordial, front desk is not. Rooms are big and comfortable, wifi is free and shops and restaurants are nearby, many walkable."
