「We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. 」

It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy, with everything I needed (hair dryer, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, fresh water, toiletries). The WiFi internet in the hotel is not very good with filtering for example Amazon app dosent work and Mobile phone coverage in the area is very weak The TVs in the bedroom are very small for this day and age 」

「We had a great stay! What stood out: clean rooms - we had two (spotless), staff were so curteous and pleasant, beds and pillows conforatable, nice walk in hot shower, heating in the rooms was perfect, amenities like the breakfast was wonderful and the parking was useable, although we used the public car park as not to be parked in. Thanks to the front desk manager we put extra time in the metre overnight because the traffic warden is out there before 8 o'colck! 」

There’s a kettle and a few types of tea inside the room, and the breakfast is more than good enough for me. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Knighton. It’s just a small town and so it’s within walking distance to all main attractions.」
