Our room was on the second floor, up multiple flights of stairs, through many doors/corridors (eves and beams could be a hazard for taller people). 「We were walking the Shropshire Way and the White Horse was a nice place to fall into at the end of a long day's walk. The food was wholesome and the bedroom was quiet and comfortable.
