"Lovely place to stay but I'd say the roomed are not 4* Great facilities and happy, kind and courteous staff Breakfast was very good Room decor was very tired and not what I'd expect for a 4 star hotel, the wallpaper has been patched over a damp area with a differing paper and the damp patches were showing back through "

"Wow what an adventure this was. 1st time in wales, ended up stuck in a field thanks to google maps (lesson learnt follow the written directions that were given to us) however the estate manager zoe soon sent help despite being away herself, a fabulous guy called john pulled our car out of the field ....the man is a hero!! The grounds in which the retreat is set is beyond stunning, such a scenic peaceful place. We stayed in the cowboy hut and what a cozy little place full of character this was. Everything we needed was there, the deep filled bath was definitely a bonus along with the traditional log burner which just made it even cozier. Gorgeous place to disconnect from the world and unwind for a few days, will definitely be back in the summer months to see this stunning place in all its beauty"
