「Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. 「The Surry in is a nice place to stay overnight on our trips from PA to Florida. Everything is older but clean and everything worked.」

「Stay away!! I am calling days Inn worldwide to report this property. The lamp and alarm clock and microwave were all broke. Security violation in leaving the outside door propped open. None of the ice or vending machines did not work. Could never find an employee. Stacks of bed frames in the boxes stacked floor to ceiling. Dust everywhere. Dog excrement smell in the hallways.too much to list. Several rooms were empty , meaning no furniture or at beds or anything.」
