Excellent stay

I’ve stayed at the royal suite, Excellent hotel, friendly staff and very helpful,excellent room. Outstanding things: 1. We arrived very late at night 12am, They kindly prepared a complimentary dinner at our room for us, which was extremely helpful as all restaurants were closed. 2. The heated pool at the suite is amazing and it was such a standout that it will make us come back again specifically for this feature.

Bei meiner Bewertung muss man klar zwischen dem Hotel und denn Zimmer unterscheiden. Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich zu empfehlen, wirklich sehr gutes Essen und großartige aufmerksame Mitarbeiter. Dadurch das das Hotel das kleineste JAZ-Hotel in Makadi Bay ist, wusste nach 2 Tage bereits jeder Mitarbeiter, was man gerne trinkt. All Inklusiv, wie man es kennt, grundsätzlich alles inklusive, nur eben alles local Produkte. Prosecco, Whisky, ordentlichen Rum nur gegen Aufpreis. Aber dafür muss man die Barkeeper ein Lob aussprechen, selbst mit dem local Alkohol sind die Cocktails wirklich gut. Zwar hat das Hotel den Zusatz Spa im Namen, aber eigentlich heißt das nur, dass der externe Spa Bereich in Makadi Bay neben den Hotel liegt. Wirkliche Vorteile zu den anderen Hotels hat man nicht. Wer die großartigen Rutschen und das Piratenschiff besuchen will, muss wie bei den anderen Hotels auch mit dem Bus fahren. Kommen wir zum negativen. Die Zimmer zur Gartenseite (hauptsächlich Familienzimmer) sollten aufgrund des Lärms nicht vergeben. Der Generator der Baustelle ist so laut, dass man selbst mit geschlossenem Fenster denkt man liegt neben einen Kühlschrank der ständig kühlt. Auf den Balkon zu sitzen ist nicht möglich, wenn man sich unterhalten will. Musste viel Druck machen und zwei Mal umziehen, damit es besser wurde. Hotel meinte immer, das kein Zimmer frei wäre. Habe dann gezeigt, dass ich auf deren Weibseite ein anderes Zimmer buchen kann. Poolzimmer mit Terasse war großartig

Es scheint das kleinste der Jaz Hotels dort zu sein und ist direkt am Spa, dass von allen Jaz Hotels genutzt werden kann, angeschlossen. Nettes Personal, gutes Essen. In die Jahre gekommene Zimmer. Alles in allem, hat man dort einen guten Aufenthalt. ABER: für mich persönlich, war es ein riesen Thema, dass das Internet wirklich unterirdisch ist. Es schwankt zwischen sehr schlecht und nicht da. Also Podcast hören zum einschlafen, spiele am Handy oder gar Netflix schauen, kann man dort vergessen. Das hat mich 100 EUR extra Roaming Gebühren gekostet um nur das nötigste abzudecken an Internetnutzung. Ich persönlich mache nirgends Urlaub, wo ich kein gutes Internet erwarte. Das mag speziell sein, deshalb erwähne ich es als extra Punkt. Ist einem Internet egal oder kaum wichtig, ist es empfehlenswert dort.

Diese Hotel ist kein großes Resort, sondern eine kleinere, gemütlichere Anlage. Das macht den Urlaub noch entspannter, durch kurze Wege und schnellen Service. Der Weg zum Strand ist über Abkürzungen erreichbar, ansonsten dauert es 6-7 Minuten. Das Hotel liegt daher nicht direkt am Strand, was aber von Vorteil ist, da in der Makadi Bay aus anderen Hotels oft sehr laute Musik rüberschallt. Tagsüber stört dies am Strand jedoch nicht. Strand eignet sich perfekt zum Schnorcheln und zum Tauchen. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber, die Zimmer ebenso. Es gibt ein Restaurant, das täglich einen anderen Schwerpunkt hat, so dass genügend Abwechslung da ist und für jeden was dabei. Das Abendprogramm ist ebenfalls abwechslungsreich, Tanzshows, Synchroschwimmshow, Live Musik. Die Zimmer Richtung Pool bekommen den "Lärm" mit, Zimmer hinten bekommen dies nicht mit. Es gibt in der Nähe einen kleinen Supermarkt für die nötigsten Dinge, wobei All Inclusive ausreicht. Es gibt auch einen Souk, also mehrere kleine Läden für Souvenirs und Co. Pro Aufenthalt darf man in einem der nahen Restaurant umsonst essen. Wir hatten uns für ägyptisch entschieden und es war super lecker. Es gibt noch Italiener, Steak usw. Der Service ist überaus zuvorkommend und nach wenigen Tagen "kennt man sich", so dass es eine entspannte, vertraute Atomosphäre gibt.

Das Hotel ist wirklich wunderschön. Sehr gepflegte Anlage, super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal (im speziellen Ahmed vom Strandrestaurant und Ahmed Lifeguard, Ahmed von der Rezeption, Roomservice Tamer & Mamdouh, Hauptrestaurant Amr und Mimo vom Animationsteam) wunderschöner Strand und schönes Programm. Der kurze Spaziergang zum Strand ist auch sehr schön und man kann sich den schönen Park/Anlage angucken. Das Essen im Hauptrestaurant ist auch gut. Wenn was nicht passt (unser Zimmer hatte einen ungewöhnlichen Geruch im Bad), einfach das Personal ansprechen und die kümmern sich dann gründlich darum. Ich würde definitiv wieder hinfahren. Was ich verbessern würde: - Handtuch Service am Strand - Bäder renovieren - Kühlschrank mit Wasser am Strand - Das Programm Karaoke würde ich entweder aus dem Sortiment nehmen, oder nur schöne Lieder anbieten. Wenn man die Kontrolle an den Gast übergibt, kommt nur Blödsinn dabei raus. - Schilder beim Essen, auch bei den Beilagen/Vorspeisen - Mehr Auswahl im Strandrestaurant - Die Klimaanlagen auf dem Zimmer waren sehr laut

Really it's fantastic stay

It was very nice and sweet stay really the service is perfect upon arrival till our departure the hotel the staff is very helpful and friendly try to make us satisfied in every place everything started from the front office special Mr Mohsen the manager of the front desk, the pool area and the restaurant the only problem is distance between the lobby to the beach it must offer a golf car to facility and help the senior citizens and the handicapped

Everything was excellent except isolation between rooms is too bad you feel that other guest in near room stay with you in your room

Personal top, Essen gut, bisschen abgerockt!!!

Hotel gut wie immer. Personal engagiert und freundlich, top. Leider fährt das Management einen falschen Sparkurs, es wird an allem gespart. Die momentane Situation könnte man für Renovierungsarbeiten nutzen, dies wird aber nicht gemacht. Die Fugen in der Dusche fallen raus, die Musikanlage im Restaurant / Lobby scheppert, am Stuhl im Zimmer schauen die Klammern raus. Es gibt kein Orangensaft mehr zum Frühstück........ Wenn sie so weiter sparen, werden sie auch bald den ein oder anderen Stern einsparen können

Best staff!

Location is ideal close to Makadi souq, and beach near by. Rooms well maintained and clean however bathroom has poorl ventilation and bad smell. Hotel generally small but very cozy. Food variety is ok but the quality could be much better, best was the oriental dinner night. Staff is the best highlight of the hotel, very friendly, cooperative and do their best to help.
