「I booked this cottage at fairly short notice We were attending an event nearby and so booked only one night but it is beautifully situated and the cottage was very nice, so I would happily have stayed longer. Communication easy and very prompt via Hotels.com app and once we arrived, the mobile number was available. Self check in was easy, key safe code provided in advance. Vicky arranged for us to store bikes securely in padlocked barn. Comfortable cottage, slept well, it is very quiet. There is...

「Charming pub with spacious accommodation ideal for Penine Way walkers. This traditional hostelry, popular with both locals and visitors, has a great range of well kept ales and hearty meals. Also dog friendly : ) Note that breakfast is not provided but the accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen.」

「Good points Shower , toilet , barbeque all very good , Hot tub BRILLIANT when in it . Tent ample room to move around and side windows let in enough light during daytime . Cooler box was very good kept the ice frozen all the time we were there and not electric (Yeti) thats the make of it . Amazing views from the site and peaceful . 「Amazing retreat in the heart of the Peak District. Spotless clean, highest quality kitchen appliances, wellness tech, sauna for private use. Quiet and modern. Loved it!」

「The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive.」

「Great property, super clean, was well stocked, and had everything we needed. Co-op was round the corner or we walked to the local Tesco. Would highly recommend! Thank you!」

「Quiet location on a small farm (29 acres) just outside Buxton. Very well equipped kitchen and good internet/wifi. Friendly helpful owners who live on-site. Great location and a base for the Peak District walks plus there is a nice walk from Cowdale farm to King Sterndale. If you’re into climbing there is a rock face used by climbers less than 500 metres from the accommodation.」
