"Dadou was absolutely a gem of a find! The hotel is in a really central area and within walking distance to stores, a supermarket & restaurants. It was my parents & brother’s first time in Paris and they were very impressed and happy with the hotel. Not only did it smell good every time we walked in, but the property is well maintained and the staff was super sweet and helpful. They even refrigerated butter for me so I can transport it properly back home.
We stood in their family room & although I had a different expectation of the layout - it turned out well. It was a nice concept since we were able to have two bathrooms instead of sharing one.
If you book the family room, don’t expect two adjoining rooms with a door to connect - it is two rooms with their own separate bathrooms and they connect by having one main door. You can either choose to close both room doors or keep them open for an adjoining effect but there is one main door you close for the entire stay. I’m sorry if it sounds confusing but it was a nice concept!
I would absolutely stay at Dadou again. Although it was near a major tourist attraction - it is tucked away in a more quiet street for better privacy and less noise after a full day out. The bathroom even had heated floors. The only downside is there was no refrigerator or microwave but that’s the least of my concern in Paris and I’m sure the staff would be more than happy to help!
Next time I go back to Paris, I’m booking at Dadou again!"
