"We arrived a couple hours early and our room was ready - which was fantastic after a very long travel day. The room was small but very comfortable - we booked the mignon room and it was indeed. In the bathroom There is no door on the shower, so it’s hard not to make a mess when showering, it the towels are big and absorbent so you can easily clean up :) the water pressure was wonderful. "Very Spacious, updated, comfortable, peaceful & secure. Literally within a few steps from the entrance: a great pastry, bread coffee cafe; cheese & wine shop; even a little grocery & many shops & restaurants all around. A pretty central location, comfortably walkable to some of Paris highlights, but metro is convenient and uber always an option which we frequented. There really are 68 stairs, and they are curved, so prepare. Its a personal challenge, Once you arrive there is an Ahhhhh moment! Unit is large & bright! Plenty of room for the 3 of us. Nice linens, comfortable beds. Love the open windows and the rooftop vine view. A disappointment was the glass roof over the bed was quite dirty so couldn't see the stars. The wi-fi is spotty - we could get connected only on the sofa by the door, and the safe would not work for us. Communication could have been better, but I would not hesitate to stay here."

"Our experience was outstanding. We were especially pleased with the room upgrade. It was much bigger than expected and extra special being at the end with the two windows we could open to see and hear the lively and fun activity on the street and restaurant below. We loved the 'old' feel of the entire hotel and the room itself. The front desk staff was great - very cordial and helpful in many ways. The connection with the restaurant was great and the waiters, food, and outdoor environment was wonderful. And the location was really convenient also. Thanks Curtis and Susan Brock"

"Because of an issue we had at another hotel, we had to do a last minute 1-night booking. The staff and managers at the hotel were kind and accommodating. They helped us get into our room, made sure we had what we needed, and went above and beyond with helping us book the remainder of our stay in Paris at des Orfèvres. Rooms were clean and quiet. Location was just right."
