Great Hotel

Beautiful hotel, room was quite large and well furnished. Ate at the bar in the small restaurant and the food/service was excellent too.

lovely countryside boutique hotel

Very nice peaceful hotel in the German countryside, modern boutique style renovation of an old cloister. The adjacent Church luckily does not wake you up! Restaurant and wines are a big plus.

Beim Check in mussten wir feststellen, dass es sich bei dem gebuchten Zimmer um ein Maisonette handelt und sich beim Badezimmer mit Toilette nur eine Schlafcouch befindet. Eine Schlafcouch kommt derzeit aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht infrage. Beim Auschecken heute Morgen mussten wir den vollen Preis, 252 €, zahlen. Wir wurden darauf hingewiesen, dass Provisionen an EXPEDIA zu zahlen sind. Auch ein Hinweis, dass bei EXPEDIA kein Hinweis auf eine Maisonette zu finden ist, brachte uns nicht weiter. Das Hotel wird EXPEDIA kontaktieren. Wir erwarten in diesem Fall eine kundenfreundliche Lösung, da wir das Zimmer wechseln, in einer geringeren Kategorie wohnten und dafür den Preis zahlen möchten.

Reception staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, including refreshments and ice cream. The dog bed, water bowl, and treats provided in the suite also added a personal touch appreciated by our four-legged family member. The property celebrates its heritage while offering all the mod-cons expected from demanding guests like ourselves, including EV charging. Our stay felt extremely relaxing in what is a very beautiful and quiet location.
