The hotel offers direct access to the beach, just a few minutes’ walk away. I had a wonderful stay there—it’s quiet and much less crowded, which made it very relaxing. Waikiki Beach and the International Market Place are both within a comfortable 10–18 minute walk. The hotel service is excellent. Although the room safe was not working, it was a minor issue and didn’t affect my overall experience. I will choose this hotel in my next trip.

We had a fantastic stay at the Lotus Honolulu at Diamond Head. The front desk staff was outstanding—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful both during check-in and throughout our visit. They gave us excellent recommendations for delicious local meals and great spots to explore nearby. The hotel’s location is ideal—just steps from a beautiful beach. We loved that the hotel provided beach chairs and towels, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the ocean. We enjoyed our stay so much that we tried to extend it, but the hotel was fully booked, so we’ll just have to come back next time. Looking forward to our next visit!

This was such a beautiful hotel! The room was incredible with the best Illy Espresso machine in the room. The bathrobe was so comfortable I bought one to take home. The restaurant located at the hotel was fabulous. I would definitely recommend eating there (The Alden). The best thing about the hotel is the location. It is in Diamond Head, which is off Waikiki, so you still are close enough to the shopping and fun things on the strip, but you aren't dealing with all of the noise and people. Access to beach is feet away.

Beautiful Hotel

The hotel lobby was gorgeous, very friendly staff. My room was beautiful, with a pretty view of the ocean. There is only one restaurant that offers dinner only.

An Oasis on Waikiki

Mine was an unexpected stay since I missed my flight to Guam and was a last minute booking. Desk staff was awesome and the hotel is a bit smaller than its peers near Diamond Head -- just what I wanted. Peaceful, welcoming and the view over the jade expanse was a bonus during my short stay. My only regret is that I didn't have time to surf...east coasters really cherish these waters!

Quieter option with a view of the sea

Very comfortable stay with no issues at all. Friendly staff and at a low key hotel in a convenient location--could walk to Diamond Head--and the public beach next door was perfect. So glad we kept our distance from the big and crowded hotels at Waikiki.
