There will be roaches in your room, scurrying around on your bed, so just be prepared for that. Building is dark and dingy and the AC is so ineffective that the sheets constantly felt damp. You are getting what you pay for here. Also heads up on the daily $25 “amenity fee” that is undisclosed til check in and inflates the nightly rate.

The staff there was amazing! Super friendly and helpful. The building itself and rooms were old, out dated, had kitchen ammenities but I would not have trusted using the stove!! Also there were a ton of bugs that seemed to come out of the bathroom and kitchenette 😔 location was close to beach but there were definitely some sketchy people handing out in that area

recently stayed at the Ewa Hotel, and unfortunately, it was a major letdown. I cannot recommend this property for several reasons: • Cleanliness: The hotel was overall very dirty. It felt neglected and poorly maintained from the moment we walked in. • Pest Issues: To make matters worse, we discovered bugs in our room. This is completely unacceptable for any hospitality establishment. • Poor Management: When we brought these concerns to the staff’s attention, they were indifferent. Our complaints were not addressed, and no effort was made to rectify the situation or move us to a sanitary room.

Staff was wonderful. Location was great. Parking was very limited. Older building and the age shows. Water pressure was amazing and beds were small but comfortable. Last interior update was probably in the 70s because of the popcorn ceiling.

Laundry worked flawless amd kitchenette in our room worked great, though it was small. Would be nice to have more outlets. Bedsheet kept coming undone during the night and those dang roosters could have let us sleep in a little longer.

I genuinely wish I could give this place zero stars. Our stay was an absolute nightmare from the moment we walked into the room and saw cockroaches crawling between the glass and the table and also across the floor. Not just one — multiple. It was beyond disgusting. No one expects to pay for a room and end up sharing it with pests. When we brought the issue to management, things somehow got worse. The manager was shockingly rude and completely dismissive. Instead of apologizing or trying to make things right, she hid behind the “non-refundable booking policy” ant first and refused to offer any kind of refund — even though the room was clearly infested. Her attitude made it very clear that guest comfort and basic hygiene are not priorities here. But in the end we fought against it and we did receive a refund, but only for nights that we have not used yet. The only bright spot in this whole experience was the front desk staff. They were polite, sympathetic, and clearly doing their best in an uncomfortable situation. Unfortunately, their kindness couldn’t make up for the unsanitary conditions or the manager’s unprofessional behavior. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the potential need to shake roaches out of your suitcase — stay somewhere else.

I was surprised at having to pay $45/night for parking. Most hotels have free parking. I felt this was a bit of trickery to say their room rates are lower than they really are. Also, the room was a bit cold and there was no heater.
