"Our stay in Honolulu was highly enjoyable, particularly as we were celebrating my mother's birthday, which she truly appreciated. We were somewhat taken aback to discover that this Hilton location does not provide any special offerings for birthdays. In contrast, our previous experiences at other Hilton establishments in California and Nevada included various birthday amenities. Nonetheless, the hotel staff were remarkably accommodating and hospitable, fulfilling our requests for additional towels, new trash bags, and other necessities. They also provided water tickets, allowing us to avoid unnecessary expenditures on bottled water. However, it is worth noting that the parking fees were exorbitant, even with the seemingly modest discount extended to guests. For our brief stay of five days and four nights, we incurred parking costs totaling nearly $200."

"Clean Room staff was helpful and location was excellent"

"Upon check in we were not happy with out room. As we checked in late at night we just decided to just go to bed and try for an upgrade the next day which we received at a more than fair cost. The new room was absolutely beyond what we could have expected with 90 degrees of ocean view from in front of the hotel all the way down to the lagoon. We enjoyed a full view of the fireworks one night. The walk to the beach was about 2 minutes just across the road. Room service was great and nightly reception was a nice touch offering free drinks. The breakfast included allowed for a quick start in the day, not having to go outside of the hotel and eat at some other restaurant. Overall, the hotel exceed our expectations. "

"Obnoxious front desk staff, unhelpful. 3 separate times with 3 different ppl, they were all the same. And I’m coming from perspective of being a former 10-yr hotel employee who knows how to treat guests. Property is cheap, thin walls, small rooms, tiny bathrooms, little amenities, no extra pillow or blankets in room. Etc. Just not worth what I paid. Please take your business elsewhere. The only positive experience was with the valet/bellhop, now they know what customer service is. Front desk ppl should go to special training to learn that."

"Great location; nicely appointed rooms; easy check in process; nice pool area; quiet air conditioning; lots of shops and restaurants to walk to; every room is either ocean front or ocean view. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again."
