「I can not fault the woodshed or Karl the host. Just amazing」

「Lovely house and very quiet location which is what I loved . Everything you needed in terms of kitchen facilities /utensils etc . Lovely comfy bed , down side was late check in 4pm and early check out out 10am , no breakfast included but other than than lovely .」

「I had a lovely overnight stay in the wel presented Willow Lodge. The room was immaculate and had some lovely touches from the owners. The location is stunning, you will not be disappointed. Slightly disappointing for me was the price for the electric vehicle charging. But would not be put off booking again..」

「This is a wonderfully quirky and unique place to stay. The accommodation is just perfect. Hosts Steve and Elaine have created a tranquil and idyllic tiny retreat at Robin Hood Tower. Comms were great and Steve showed us around, sharing local history and top tips for our trip. Canal side walks were glorious. A magical stay.」

「The property was immaculate and spacious in a lovely quiet area. Everything you may need for your stay is provided including a complementary bag with some breakfast and tea and coffee supplies upon arrival. Customer service was excellent. I really can't fault this property at all and I would definately recommend it to others and would revisit myself. 」

「A mixed bag: positives: house was clean and the key lock and parking was convenient, and food and drink supplies very welcome. Negatives: our booking was changed fairly last minute from “the terrace” to a different house “the Mews” for unknown reasons. (So my review is not for this listing, but for “The Mews”.) Although the house was on the same estate and also had 3 double bedrooms, one of the bedrooms was pretty small, and the original property had the master bedroom on its own top floor ,...

「The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive.」

「I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay.」

「Great stay. See review on Sykes Cottages site」

「Very clean with extremely comfortable beds. The welcome pack was a lovely thought and much appreciated.」

「Great location, very clean, really well decorated, every thing you need for self catering. I would highly recommend this property」

「Parking was easy although I was concerned. Property was quirky just as picture. Fabulous」

「Fantastic accommodation. Right in the centre of ashbourne. Will recommend and will come again」

「Amazing family farm house in a stunning location with beautiful views. Property was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything you need for a home away from home. Check in was smooth and any questions were answered efficiently by the hosts. Would definitely recommend to anyone family or small group who wish to get away from it all. Thank you」

「Nice clean, comfortable property with everything you need. Comfortably sleeps 10. And it really is less than five minutes walk to Alton Towers! Definitely stay here again. 」

「I had a wonderful stay at Stonecroft Lodge. I have stayed before and will look to return again as testament to the quality of the accommodation and also the peace and relaxation factor.」

「This property is beyond a ten in every way, it is everything an English country cottage should be. The village is delightful and the local pubs and people are very friendly. Lots of lovely walks. We were sad to leave.」
