If you're uncomfortable driving fast on dirt roads, get a rental, because there won't be much left of it after the 100+ miles of washboard road. BTW...not your average rough, washboard, road... should be used by automobile manufacturers for accelerated aging testing and proving grounds! HITR is ABSOLUTELY worth the trip...go to the Lake via HITR!
