「Located right in the town.. Close proximity to many restaurants and party spots. Cheffy is the host and he is very helpful. He recommended spots for me to visit and was very attentive whenever he was needed. You can also drive to Secret Beach from here and its about 40mins by golf cart but I recommend the drive because its very scenic and you get to see the island.. I'd definitely recommend here for the price and the location and knowing you can get assistance from Cheffy.」

「The property is in the vicinity of lots of restaurants. I highly recommend Garifuna Soul Food Restaurant. I had a King Room Deluxe which had a full kitchen with anything you need to cook, store and reheat your food. Thus room type really allows you to ger comfortable and store your belongings away. The concierge was very helpful with recommending dining options like Sweet Tutz. The food there was very authentic and reasonably priced! 1 of 2 pools on-site was open for most days of my stay....

「Basically, everything works at the Mayan. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean with well equipped kitchens, and while it’s not in the least bit luxurious, it’s very nice. Reaching for just a couple of small complaints, there’s a bad odor on the lane outside the only entry/exit, and you have to knock on the window at the entrance if you want the water turned on so that you can rinse the sand from your feet. But, hey, it’s San Pedro! You could pay a lot more and still not beat the convenience,...

「Flew with Mom and Dad, there cabana had excellent air-conditioning and ours worked only if we kept it full blast and had to leave it on 24/7. Property needs a little maintenance but overall was a great stay.」

「I came to celebrate my birthday & had such a pleasant experience. All of the staff were extremely nice and accommodating. The room was clean and had everything I needed (water, microwave, fridge). The location is also walking distance from a lot of bars & restaurants. It wasn’t loud or crowded near the hotel which is a plus. I’m definitely coming back!」

「The only way I can describe this place is it should be under motel not hotel. I book solely for distance and the price because I was island hopping throughout the trip. The hotel bathroom and hallways has an horrific smell the room was only ok if the AC was running nonstop the sheets have multiple stain and hair in the sheets. If I can’t relax to sleep without the fear of improper clean sheets it’s just not worth it. If that’s ur vibe book it. The only positive here the front desk concierge was...
