Had about a four day stay at the property for my first ever solo trip/birthday trip. Checking in was easy. When I arrived to my room at first glance, it seems tidy. After returning from a day of activities, I did notice my sheets on the bed were disgusting after pulling back the blanket. There was like blood stains and dirt. Just nasty. it took them about two hours to bring me fresh sheets, which was extremely annoying after they left. I also noticed that in the bathroom there was make up stains on the backside of the curtains in the shower. I did notify the staff that it was going to be my birthday on the trip to see if they would do anything for it. They wrote down that they would do a room decoration for me on the day of my birthday. There was nothing in the room, just a poorly cleaned room. Other than the lack of decorations and cleaning, my stay was OK with the property.

They really need to be upfront about the fact that the beach isn’t close to the hotel…you actually have to make a reservation just to go. I ended up checking out three days early, and no one even tried to refund me. I paid for trip insurance, and they still didn’t honor it. It’s sad because I never write bad reviews, but people should know.

The only issue was cold water and the internet wifi did go off for a few hours. I did receive a credit on my room and also a free upgrade for the issues with my water into a cottage house. The hotel was very accommodating and made up for the issues I had on my stay. It’s a beautiful propriety with a private beach.

Pool was nice and it’s a beautiful spot close to everything but there were bugs in and around our bathroom sink and our shower head didn’t work and the restaurants in the area had random hours that they went by and they also don’t mention that to get to the other half of the hotel you have to take a ferry until you get there but staff was super nice and respectful and cleaned our room everyday.

I loved the privacy of the cottages & the access to the private beach. the pool area was also really nice. the staff was friendly & very helpful throughout the entire resort & for the entire stay. i also booked a birthday massage package at the spa that was amazing. Will definitely stay again !

One hell of a birthday trip at this . People bragged about this property how they had welcome drinks we didn’t receive any. Property is dated. Our lamp shades were filthy and have visible water stains. We had to request for our laundry room to be unlocked. We didn’t have Internet for several days to throughout our trip so we could not work or watch the one tv that’s in the two bedroom townhouse and the property refused to compensate us. Visit at your own risk.

The property is beautiful but I feel as though the cost does not match the experience. The pool is basic and average. They advertise their private beach but made it difficult to access. They were having engine problems with their boat and didn’t properly communicate the wait time so I waited time waiting patiently just for them to admit that they would not be able to take me over there. The manager never really had answers for any questions/issues happening on the property. The wifi on the property didn’t work during my stay.

Although this place was one of the better places on the island. But it seems a little out dated. I could have used tvs in the bedroom full lenght mirror, a microwave and some bug spray..I got ate up by mosquitoes on the inside. There was alot of constuction and our floors stayed really dusty there were no rugs. The staff was very nice. The buffet at the hotel cafe was really expensive at 65us per head... in comparison to all the other food on the island a nd it was no better. The pool was nice and clean. There is alot i can say about this place.. althought i would recommend it to people i would warn them of alot of things... it was reasonably priced for what you got. Beds was comfortable. And it was generally clean not immaculate... we stayed in a 3 bedroom with a pool. 1 tv for 6 people. I loved that it had a washer and dryer in unit. And the free internet was not the best.

Had a really great experience in Belize the property was very big. Our cottage style room was very spacious and nice. I enjoyed myself so much.
