「The Pleasant Valley Motel is your typical inexpensive MaPa Motel, but this place needs a major facelift inside and out, from the peeling wallpaper to the rusted out old rattling bathroom ceiling fan, many things need an upgrade...including the amenities, if you can call them that, the soap was thin and the size of a quarter, which desaturated after one shower and the small shampoo bottle was half-full from the start. 「Lovely Inn , comfy bed and suite. The breakfast was delicious…especially enjoyed the frittata, fresh baked sweet breads, and latte. Appreciated the fireplace and cognac nightcap served on on a cool April evening ,coming back from a delicious dinner in Lenox. Kool speak easy style bar, good vibes!」

「This hotel seemed brand new although built I believe in 2017. It was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit.」

「This is a very nice, quasi-boutique hotel. The rooms are nicely furnished but small. It is not fancy but it is comfortable, clean, and perfectly fine…just not fancy. But I’m not a fancy person so I like this place and will stay again without hesitation. The only reason for a 4-star rating is that, well, it is not a 5-star hotel…but nor is the price. I like it and I will be back.」

「We loved our stay at Oak ‘N Spruce. We are an extended family of 15, ranging in age from 3 to 91 years of age, who meet a couple of times a year in the Berkshires. We had 4 units, each with two king bedrooms (one unit was ADA compatible) and it worked out perfectly. We could not believe how much space each unit offered and we were all able to hang out comfortably in one unit.
