「Very friendly and efficient staff during our visit. The room was comfortable but not warm despite the air con/heater. The hot buffet breakfast wasn’t great but are they ever? Eggs cooked to order were perfect though. The food at dinner was pretty good and well cooked but the menu was quite limited. The menu size matched the hotel size really and overall we had no complaints. Would definitely stay there again.」

「In over 30 years of travelling on business, this is one of the best places I have stayed in.Although I did not meet the owners it was clear that the accommodation was well looked after and virtually everything had been thought of for the comfort of their guests. Virtually everything was absolutely spotlessly clean.The only small point I noticed was that there was dirt around the toilet seat hinge - a bit of a dirt trap and difficult to access(I'm sounding like a "Four in a Bed" contestant...

「From the warm welcome on arrival to the helpful and friendly check out we had a lovely overnight stay. The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The attic room is spacious and clean with a very comfy bed. The location is perfect for a walk along the seafront to the restaurants and bars. 「The hotel is lovely . The room we booked was large , very clean and overlooked the sea . Excellent rooms . But the service was less than impressive . The lady who served us at breakfast was friendly , but rather curt . Gave us the feeling she didn’t want us there and so breakfast was normally very rushed - eat and run ! 」

「There was no clear indication of how we accessed the property. Despite trying to communicate with the owner, there was no response. We had to just turn up and hope for the best. Luckily, after getting to the pod, the key was there and the stay was good. It has everything you need and is in a great location. 」

「We were a party of 3 we checked into the hotel, and had a conversation with Jim the owner about where we were going in the evening and about what other night life was in the area. The rooms and facilities were great we were close to the local shops and central Margate was in close walking distance. The beds were comfortable so we had a great night sleep and we had a fantastic full English Breakfast In the morning. It is a fantastic Guest House and we would definitely come back again and...

「We celebrated our 42nd Anniversary with an amazing seaview room with a balcony and complementary drinks. The view was fantastic.The Haddock and Chips and Taglioni Pasta at the restaurant were delicious and the chef was able to accommodate our unspicy chicken wings which was perfect! Kudos to the staff and management for the care and making our stay so memorable. We would come back.」

「Good value one night stay , good quality coffee in rooms and comfy bed , couldn’t fault it for price . 」

「In general very good. The double bed was made of two single mattresses which was not comfortable. The shower had attachments missing but worked ok. Staff were friendly and attentive.」
