"This is in my top 5 favorite hotels, anywhere! We had a great stay. Such a nice, historic hotel, well kept, clean, a great restaurant downstairs and right in the middle of everything. From there, you can walk to virtually every happening spot downtown. I loved the lounge, where a brilliant piano player kept the vibe high while we enjoyed the ambience. The best thing of all may have been the bed. It was SOOOO comfortable, the pillows as well. I haven't slept that well in a long time. I was worried about the noise, being downtown on a Saturday night, but after about 10pm, it got pretty quiet. My wife is super picky and not so into historical, but she said this was one of her best hotel experiences as well. We will be back!"

"It was a lovely little hotel. We loved the breakfast. The food was hot and full. The pool was perfect for kids. It's 3 ft deep. The only thing that was sub-par was the bedding was not clean. They gave us clean sheets. Other than that, it was a great hotel. "

"Overall, our stay was good. Parking was limited and tight due to full nights. Because there is space under the bed it was a little dirty but the rest of the room was clean. We did not use many amenities."

"I had to move to 3 different rooms when I checked in. One the AC did not work, the second one the phone did not work. The breakfast was sub-par. The rooms and hall were boring in dreary neutrals and black. The desk was too high to do meaningful work for a short person."

"The hotel was recommended to us from a couple of friends. The out door area was very nice, with a live band. They did offer free coffee in the room, though no other breakfast items in the lobby. The old elevator was pretty cool, but it was hard to find someone to man it when we wanted to leave. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom sink and mirror were in the bedroom which was a little inconvenient to use in the middle of the night. All in all, I have to say, it wasn’t worth the cost."

"Great location to walk to historical downtown area. Hotel is clean and accommodations are nice. I had a problem with location and type of room and the staff member Dwyane was neither apologetic or helpful in resolving the problem. Not the type of customer service expected with so many other options for accommodations. "
