「Good location, quiet and plenty of choice for breakfast.」

「The actual room was very clean. Bed was comfortable and clean linen. The bar wasn't open in the day, but that was okay. There are plenty of pubs and bars a five minute walk away. A steep hill, though, for those with disabilities. Lots to see in the upper town. Very historical buildings. Lots to explore. The food on the night was absolutely fantastic! 5 star for us. The flavours were amazing, and extremely well priced. We would definitely stay again.」

「I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.」

「Reception staff fairly friendly bar staff not so we waited over 10 mins for a member of staff no show so I went to reception we’re both the reception lady and the lady from the bar were just casually chatting and no apology for keeping us waiting」

「Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! Our room was spotless, very comfy bed, lovely armchairs with the spectacular view over Ironbridge and the valley....
