Owner not that friendly ! He offered to carry other guests bags , did not offer to carry mine ! I thought that was extremely rude ! Day of my departure, the owner was being loud with cleaning duties in the hallway of my place . Woke me up . Other guest shared same experience. Would not stay there again

Rooms was excellently renovated; all the comforts of home; great bed & pillows. High water pressure in the shower. Breakfast plentiful & tasty. Steep rocky stairs outside, so a warning those with physical handicaps climbing. Albeit, this is a historic location (including the stairs) and that is also the beauty of it. Huge outside yard to sit, eat, listen to music, watch the fire, etc. I had a challenge managing the heater, a set of instructions would had helped and/or I could had asked. The host was terrific. This was a very enjoyable stay with no complaints from me. We'll be back.

Brant was friendly and easy to communicate with. Rooms were clean and updated and it was right in the middle of town within walking distance to every shop and restaurant. Very nice courtyard to relax in or enjoy music on the stage when available.

I booked it initially because Hotels.com said it was pet-friendly, but I discovered after making the non-refundable reservation that I did not book the type of room that allowed for pets. The owner, Brant, was wonderful. The accommodations were good. The room was clean. Bed was a bit on the firm side. The standard king room is not designed for relaxation. The highlight was the live music on Friday & Saturday night in the courtyard. Make sure you check with the property to see if breakfast is included with your room type. They deliver bottles of water daily with a fresh baked cookie. Overall, I would recommend this property.

Such a fun stay overall! If breakfast is included, it’s delivered right to your door. They even drop off little bottles of water while you're out, which is a nice touch. Most things are within easy walking distance, and the trolley is just a 5-minute walk away. It can take you pretty much anywhere. Bonus: live music on weekend nights!

We were met by the owner immediately- even texted us asking about our ETA to be ready for us. Was ver knowledgeable of the area, and put customer comfort first. Loved my stay here…Brant was very helpful with information on the area since it was our first visit. Very clean room and comfortable bed and pillows! Close walk to all of downtown shopping and restaurants. Piano bar is right across the street, but loved the live music in the garden area…the rabbit even enjoyed the music…lol…found out he feeds the rabbit graham crackers so they stick around. Beautiful property and town! Will definitely be back

I enjoyed a wonderful stay here in the heart of Hermann. It's a very short walk to various restaurants and shops. The inn has an expansive patio/garden area with special treats and music for guests. Brant was extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave great tips for where to visit. Also a very dog-friendly place. Would definitely stay here again!
