「I would have loved to have given a 10/10 but unfortunately whilst the property is great value for a stop over and breakfast was good, there is a drainage issue, and the bathrooms in the 2 rooms we booked smelt strongly of blocked drains as did the car parking area so clearly a problem that needs to be resolved. Apart from that everything was good.」

「Booked as we had an early flight from East Midlands airport. Owner met us soon after we arrived. Nice room, great comfy bed, very good shower. Advised there was a good restaurant just down the road (15 min walk) which we visited and had a very tasty meal. Left in the morning too early for breakfast, but not host’s fault. Very good nights sleep. Plenty of parking. Road to airport a bit narrow and windy, but we made it in plenty of time. Would recommend.」

「The room we had was dated and need refurbishing. Tired carpet, curtains etc. The bed was uncomfortable with a dip in the middle. Unfortunately on the final night I hardly slept due to scratching, biting sounds coming from the roof space above the bed, which I can only put down to rats or large vermin. The restaurant was ok for breakfast, continental or cooked. The staff were lovely. Parking was easy as well.」

「The best hotel, among the six hotels, i had stayed in our recent trip to the UK. Not only does thw hotel has tidy and spacious family room, the toilet is clean and the breakfast is wonderful and the room rate is very attractive. The only drawback is that there is no lift for our room at upper floor. In sum, an excellent hotel which i am ready to patronize or recommend to ky friends. 」
