The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower was also excellent. The meal was amazingly priced for 3 courses and the chief made the pudding from scratch. I would absolutely go back again and even if we disnt stay the night i could eat the chiefs food all day long every day

A Stately home Mansion now a hotel couldn’t fault it beautiful grounds easy parking good food reasonably price 3 course meal, almost A La Carte quality for £17! Buffet breakfast health club was excellent and free pool sauna steam room all top notch for the price will paid for a stay would not hesitate to stay here again on our way up North to break the trip up

Because of the festive season, but their hospitality was exceptional. Christmas card and a box of short bread and fudge were in our room. Christmas crackers on our dining table. We had really good time. One thing expedia web site should clearly mention that this hotel charge each time us when use swimming pool and gym. We did not know that until we visit the facility.

I paid £65 for a double room that was just big enough to be called double, the bed was very basic and quite hard so I wouldn’t like to pay more than that but the staff are lovely the facilities are good and if they upgraded the beds it would’ve been a good stay!

The little village ares around was beautiful and lots of places to eat and drink .hotel room small but had everything you needed but the food in the restaurant was average quality but poor selection of food and only water on the evening, no tea or coffee.breakfast was slightly burnt.would stay at hotel again because grounds where lovely bit would not eat in there again
