「Nicely designed hotel. Comfy bed and spacious room. 」

「Good: The hotel is well located and impressive in its public areas. All the staff are friendly and polite The breakfast is very good Not so good: The room itself was not too impressive. The room was stuffy, safe didn’t work, and the shower was a trickle. Overall location 10 out of 10 so if you are out and about exploring York all day and arriving/departing by train it would be good choice. If you want to relax in your room then I would recommend a different room category or another hotel. 」

「Beautiful hotel and very nice bathroom, bed was comfortable. Quiet environment and around 20 mins walk to city centre. Only thing is we have big luggage but there is no lift.」

「Claimed to have EV point but reception said it was under maintenance. The charging point was two taped up external 13 amp plug sockets.」

「We stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary trp. Staff were so lovely and really made us feel welcome. The bed however, was so uncomfy. It was a king room but the beds were two beds pushed together and there was a ridge down the middle which made it very uncomfortable and didn't get much sleep as we kept waking up. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Close enough to the centre but also far enough to be out of the hustle and bustle. Thank you to the lovely staff...
