"The hotel was clean with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are dated but have everything you need for the price. Breakfast was very good yoghurt, fruit, seeds etc and a full English. Spa area dated and could do with some updating but great small pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and ice cave. Will stay there again."

The food was good with plenty of choice and the evening entertainment was a highlight. "We had a two-night stay in the beach house. While the room itself was acceptable, on closer inspection the bathroom did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned. In general, the attention to cleanliness in the main areas of the hotel also seemed lacking. During our stay, we experienced a few maintenance issues. The hot tap in the outdoor bath leaked when in use, and in the room both the TV and lamps flickered intermittently. Although breakfast was included, I was disappointed to learn it was served at the main hotel, approximately a four-minute walk away. Unfortunately, we had to make this walk in the rain, and were only offered a buggy ride on the return journey. Finally, I feel that guests paying to stay at the hotel should have access to the spa facilities included, rather than being charged an additional £45 per person."
