「The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available.」

「A spacious, well decorated, quiet room in an optimal area to see what Chester has to offer. Tracy and Amy were very friendly, answering any questions that we had, making sure we were comfortable during our three-night stay. Would recommend!」

「Staff are wonderful. The hotel is 5 minutes walk into town. The room was extremely hot, window only opened slightly, no A/C The bar could do with more ambience, felt a bit like an airport lounge. Maybe dim the lights, a few plants and put candles on tables. Really annoying having to pay for parking £28 for two nights, however that seems to be most English hotels in towns. Overall I would go back.」
