「We were just passing through and needed a bed for the night, and the Three Kings was in the right place and what we were hoping to pay (school holidays). The Three Kings was much better than expected, great bed, good shower with a bar next door that served good food. Added to my favourates and will stay again.」

「What an excellent country pub. We have a lovely steak meal and used the garden to sit outside and have a drink before retiring to our room. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly.Breakfast was well cooked and very enjoyable. Our room was lovely and clean but the toilet flush didn’t work as well as it should. Overall we had lovely meals and a great stay made better by the welcoming friendly and attentive staff」

「We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. 」

「A wonderfully quirky cottage, but with everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen; some of the comfiest beds I've slept in; big sofas for lounging on and a landlord who's quick to reply to questions. Ideal for a family - bedrooms are adjoining. Thoroughly recommended. 」
