"When large groups arrive, the hotel closes off certain areas to accommodate them, leaving the rest of the guests without access to those amenities. Last weekend, I experienced this firsthand. One day, the pool was closed, and the next day, one of the restaurants and the pool bar were also shut down. Additionally, some areas of the lobby were closed, making the overall stay less enjoyable for everyone else who wasn’t part of the large group."

"We chose this property for the amenities available. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and had come here previously for our 10th. We loved it then so were excited to come back and enjoy the updated accommodations. However, after arriving we found things to be the opposite. The property was clean but catered much more to weddings and private parties than their guests. The tiki bar on the beach closed early due to weddings two of our three days there. On our third and final day, the pool closed at 1:00 due to a private party. On top of that, we asked for fresh towels for our room and never received them. We had to go down and get them ourselves. One of the elevators broke down and never was fixed. My husband was harassed by the valet when we got our car about why we were not eating anywhere there when we had to go to a business dinner out of town. Unfortunately, because of our experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"I felt very mislead about an extra $100 "cleaning fee" charge for my dog to stay with us. I specifically booked this hotel because it was dog friendly. I paid $115 for the night and the extra charge was almost as much as I paid for the room. I think this charge would be justified if the room needed cleaning because of my dog, but not just because. She's 12 pounds and was in the room for 12 hours."

"The staff was very accommodating our early arrival. The room was very clean with a mini fridge and microwave. The grounds were very tropical and maintained. This was a hidden gem I would highly recommend and stay again."
