It is the oldest surviving structure in Broward County and has served as a trading post, post office, town hall, and home to the Stranahans. The house is a wood-frame vernacular structure with wide porches and a stunning view of the New River. Clean, quiet, great staff. Patio is surely like the Garden of Eden, wonderful place to sit and unwind. Rooms are small and simple and had everything we needed. Short, easy walk to a wide range of services and food. Only $15 to Uber to the airport. We will definitely stay again.

Nice room to stay for a night prior to the cruise. Owner is extremely nice and friendly. It has a well-maintained garden which is a good area to stay while waiting or just to chill out. It’s feels like a resort.

Room was comfortable. Had a noisy evening from the room next door until 10:30. Miami road is nearby. Busy all the time but I wore earplugs and had no major issues. I like the security locks for the property and room as there was no room safe. Very convenient for a one night stay befor heading to the cruise port nearby
