Room 902 was a little rough around the edges. Loose molding sticking out, cracked glass sliding door, random shower/tub hardware rusting and not used, old dirty rubber house slippers, broken/missing toilet seat nut cap that hasn’t been cleaned, moldy bathroom grout due to bathtub / shower that sprays water everywhere, bath towels thin as rags, toilet was difficult to flush. Nothing to ruin our stay, just not what we would expect from a 4 star hotel. Staff and breakfast are great. Perfect location. Online pictures are a little misleading for room 902.

I recently stayed at the SQ Hang Gai Hotel & Spa, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch. The Room: My room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, providing a quiet and comfortable sanctuary away from the bustling streets of Hanoi. The Staff: The entire team was incredibly courteous and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. Special Mention: A huge thank you to Hana! She truly made my stay special with her exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. Location: You couldn't ask for a better spot—right in the center of the Old Quarter, within easy walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake and the best local food. I will certainly be recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi. I can't wait to come back!

We booked the (family) triple room , only problem is the shower where the bathtubi is,no ahower curtains, so its quite wet after u finished using the shower, but otherwise the toom is roomy enough for the 3 of us, not too noisy , though its not really soundproofed, The staff are helpful, friendly, polite. The area is safe.
