First time in backpackers! Loved it!

It was a pleasure staying at 7Fridays Westlake. Location Is amazing and the staff were great. Bunks were comfortable and I loved the curtains on each bunk that provided privacy. They also provide secure lockers which was great!

A bit far from old town but that's kind of nice since the area is quieter. There's lots of upscale hotels and restaurants in the area so finding affordable meals near here is a bit tough. Our biggest issue was privacy: the female dorm is on the first floor with glass in the door and the beds had no curtains on them - so you had nowhere to change clothes in privacy, sleep without lights bothering you, look at your phone at night without lighting up the whole dorm, etc. Bathrooms left a lot to be desired: there are two toilet stalls and two shower stalls and these are shared with anyone who visits the restaurant and bar at the hostel...so lots of drunk people who miss the toilet. Also, there's no door leading to the toilets so your entrance/exit and feet can literally be seen all the way from the entrance of the hostel. Shower pressure is non-existent, but hot water situation is fine. Biggest problem here is trying to change or shower in the stall while the cleaning lady is throwing buckets and buckets and buckets of water at the toilets to clean them off and being splashed by all that gross liquid under the stalls since the walls don't go to the floor. Staff is friendly enough and able to book excursions and rent mopeds (in desperate need of maintenance...rider beware). Free breakfast is a great perk. Beds are comfortable. Lockers are large and clean. Pool is on the small side but great for a quick dip on a hot day. Overall value is good, if a bit far from the action.

The pool was a huge bonus, all the staff was very friendly and easy to talk to, very helpful with planning outings giving good advice and sharing their experiences. Security was good for rooms and lockers. The only downside was the wifi was very slow, sometimes not loading at all, but a Sim card with data is cheap!

This place had an excellent vibe! The staff really made everyone feel included and that makes or breaks a hostel in my opinion. The music was loud all day but it encouraged everyone to socialize and just have a good time by the pool. Everyone was also extremely respectful in and around the rooms. Loved it and would totally stay again!

다좋지만 개미가 좀 있습니다. 저야 친구들이랑 왁자지껄 무던하게 지내서 개미 치우고 잘수있었지만 위생신경쓰시는분들은 지내기힘드실거같아요. 도미토리룸같은경우 한 방에 3층침대가 5세트 들어있습니다. 빽빽하구요 에어컨은 하나인데 굉장히 춥습니다. 리모콘있으니 잽싸게 온도올리고 주무세용 숙박객은 서양인들이 98퍼센트입니다. 풀장이 있는게 이 호스텔의 가장 큰 메리트입니다. 직원들도 친절합니다.

Very good!

This is a great location. It is away from the city center and in a location without much budget orientated accommodations. The certainly get great value for your money. It was very convenient. One thing - the lockers look good, but the back of the lockers are not secured very well. The back as coming off. The lockers were pushed up against the wall and I never leave anything of value; but I do like to have some security for my luggage. With a little locker adjustment I would stay here every night.

The hostel is barely six months old and is a work in progress. It is situated in the peaceful Westlake District and is a 15 minute ride away from the busy city center which keeps you away from all the hustle and bustle.

Wonderful people

The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful! Really lovely people. The location is superb.. . Right on the promenade on west lake. Pool was a great bonus. Electronic combination locks. Beds are stacked three high so not so comfortable.
