「1 night business stay. Is also an events centre so a few different groups / companies there for training etc. Because of this, I was only offered meal service in bar which was fine and food was very good. No draft lagers on offer but the bottled options were good. Used the pool and all in all a very pleasant stay. Breakfast- plenty of offerings. Will definitely return when next in area and can recommend. 」

「This hotel is just over 10 minutes drive to Gatwick Airport in the quiet countryside in a beautiful old manor house. Room 209 was spacious, quiet and luxurious but I was surprised to discover 8 stairs to negotiate after I got out of the lift. There was no bar fridge in the room so I had to ask bar staff for an ice bucket to chill the bottles of water provided. There was no power point in the bathroom either which seemed unusual. Apart from that, the stay was perfect. It’s hard to find anywhere...

「A beautiful pub and inn with a gorgeous beer garden next to the sounds of a babbling brook. The room was full of character and spacious enough for the three of us, but as it is an old building, we could hear the other guests walking and talking the floor above us. The pub was nice for dinner. Thanks!」

「Regular Aussie here. Great clean facilities - have a taxi service about 25 eu to airport . My room had a tub and towel warmer . Little bit off beaten track but not reduiculous 」

「i wish i could give 10 stars for hospitality and customer service! the place is quaint, has an older feel, not a hilton, but felt like i was at home! quiet, cool with open windows, great bar! and great staff! if there is an issue they will resolve it! 」

「The soundproofing is poor, and I can hear the snoring from the neighboring room at night. I requested two bottled waters, but they did not provide them. The drainage in the bathroom is poor - after about 10 minutes of showering, the water starts draining out, as the shower area has a shallow floor and does not have enough time to properly drain. However, the hotel is indeed very close to the airport.」

「Stayed just for one night before an early flight. I was very impressed. Nice, clean room, friendly staff, easy drive to Gatwick. Only gave a 3 star for staff as the barman was obviously very new and hadn’t yet been taught all he needed to know. I would recommend.」

「Overall hotel room is okay but not too happy to assign to floor 0 as I found bugs inside the room from time to time. Initially, I want to extend my stay but I finally moved to nearby hotel for extra nights as I don’t want to stay in floor 0. The most important is they are not providing service to keep guests’ baggage, so I need to walk round to keep them at the airport wait till check in. They should mention it on their booking page.」
