This was a very clean, up-to-date and friendly motel. Very quiet and felt very safe. Good fry truck right next door and a convenient distance from downtown Dunnville. Could have used more cable channels.
The t.v had ample channels to watch and the fridge and microwave are newer. The traffic was lulling and not too loud. It could use newer towels and a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea. It was overall clean and quiet and we would be happy to stay here again!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room was decent enough clean and comfortable. my only complaint was the size of the bathroom. It was sooooo small you have squueze past the sink to close the door and to access the toilet. The shower is beind the door which was not easy to get in and out of. If i were a bigger person i would not have fit in that bathroom.
Quite satisfied for price. Neat, clean. Traditional motel style of 2 beds (queen), TV, bathroom, small fridge and microwave. Table in nook with chairs. Sadly, no coffee maker in room and none at office either. Need to drive to get morning coffee!
Good place to sleep after a long day at the beach.
Out shower had no hot water but the host came quick to check and open another room for us to shower.
I would definitely come back again!
Check in was a bit strange because the door to the reception desk was locked and you must use a buzzer or call a phone number to have someone let you in. However, the staff was friendly and we had no problems checking in.
The room was clean, with a nice sized bathroom and a large tv with Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. The internet was spotty and the bed could use a mattress topper to make it feel more comfortable but all in all, it was a pleasant stay
Overly priced for the room I stayed in. My friend stayed in the same priced room on a newer side and it was way better. Newer and nicer looking shower extra pillows and more. My room smelt funny and the shower was terrible.

The room had a musty smell- the bathroom and kitchen fixtures had hard water built up around them- very outdated. Although free wifi the connection kept dropping. The shower and tub had hardwater stains and rust around them.
My husband was accosted by a prostitute, the neighbours were loud all night and fighting and yelling. There were food stains on the floor and wall, the bedsheets were stained.
While the staff promptly cleaned up, the rooms shouldn’t have been in that state in the first place.

misleading.. made me think reviews are done by staff... Horrible smell coming from the bathroom, weekend getaway lasted 30 mins before we had enough and drove the 3 hours home... Kitchenette they claimed to have in the rooms was did not exist. microwave and bar fridge is NOT a kitchenette..
Turned the keys back in and did not say the night. Bare bones room was expected, but the chemical spray smell (perhaps recently sprayed for pests?), and the other guests day-drinking in between units and arguing at the top of their lungs in profanity laced barrages at each other led me to drive my kids a couple more hours home. Staff apologized over a speaker phone, while asking me to drop my keys in a drop-box. Definitely would not recommend
No secondary lock on the door. Smelled of septic in the room. Carpet covered in black hard chunks. Light in bathroom terrible. Maid asked if we wanted room service and was told no, and then 2 hours later knocked and entered the room immediately with the key. No checkout at 9 am had to leave key in unlocked room. Very noisy and obviously people are living some of the rooms....very nosey. Will never go back.
When we booked this hotel we read that it had a kitchenette. I sent the hotel a message a week before we arrived to ask what they had in their kitchenette. They write back and told me they had a stove, microwave and fridge. And that I needed took bring utensils and cooking pans, etc. When we arrived they put us in room 1 which didn't have a stove. I immediately went back and she moved us to room 2 that did have a stove. The next morning we meet the cleaning lady. She was helpful. We weren't sure if we needed another night but she gave us her number and it was able to call her to book a second night. We got the same room. We're couldn't book on Expedia because Expedia said the hotel was sold out. But it wasn't.
The room was a decent size. Two double beds and a small couch. The bed was pretty hard and not that comfortable. The AC unit was very loud. The fridge was loud also.
It's an older motel and it shows but it met our needs.
