Hotel under renovation, closed without any notice

Hotel was closed due to renovation. No warning or reference note at the hotel door. Asked around, found another hotel by same owner next door - got a nice little room in perfect location for transport from central train station.

Nahe am Hauptbahnhof, Parkhaus 500 m entfernt. Leider konnte man die Nachbar im Bad hören, als wenn sie im gleichen Zimmer waren.

Cheap and old, but a surprisingly good bathroom

This was a last-second booking via the wifi from the McDonalds around the corner. Cheap and nearby was paramaount and this hotel certainly delivered on both accounts. Upon entering the reception I immediately thought this was going to be a two-star rating and this was confirmed upon entering the room. However, the bathroom surprisingly exceeded all expectations, hence my overall three-star rating. The bathroom was refurbished, had a box of tissues, was clean, had extra toilet paper, had a hairdryer, and had shampoo from a normal bottle. Negatives were the worn-out carpet throughout the hotel, the state of the rest of the room, it was cold, it was noisy. The wifi was good though.

Einmal und NIE wieder!!!

Der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war ein einziger Horror! Ich habe ein Doppelzimmer für 2 Nächte mit meiner Freundin gebucht. Bereits am Anreisetag wurde lautstark eine Baustelle im Hotel betrieben, die nicht angekündigt war! Dadurch war das ohnehin schlecht gereinigte Hotel noch verschmutzter! Am Samstag morgen wurden wir um 9 Uhr durch laute Bohrmaschinen im Hotel geweckt. Die Heizung war ausgefallen und das warme Wasser war nicht verfügbar. Das Personal war unkooperativ uneinsichtig und interessierte sich nicht für unsere Sorgen / Probleme / Beschwerden. Samstagabend gegen 19:00 Uhr wurde immer noch im Hotel lautstark renoviert, so dass wir das Hotel wechseln mussten, weil der Lärm unerträglich war!

Hotellet valgt pga. beliggenhed. Ret slidt og dårligt vedligeholdt. Varmeanlægget brød ned og der blev meget koldt på værelset. Der er ikke mulighed for at spise morgenmad på hotellet.

God beliggenhed - Slidt - Ingen elevator

Hotellet har god beliggenhed overfor Hauptbahnhof på det lidt listige St. Georg. Hotellet er meget slidt - og svarer ikke til prisen bortset fra de 3xB'er.Der var ikke engang et tandkrus. Meget venlig betjening. Morgenmad var ikke incl. så kan ikke kommenteres. Omkringliggende P-Huse var ikke billige. Men så er det godt at Hamborg er en dejlig by !

Problem with the fan noise in the bathroom and the TV. Perhaps it cost more tnhan it was worth because. It was a busy weekend. Staff offered to keep my bags until my train, which was good because I didn't understand that the lockers in the train station were only for 6hours.

Good location, however the hotel is old!

Good location, however the hotel is in need of a refurbishment, it's old and worn out, also a lift would be nice, it's hard on the arms when you have to carry your luggage up 4 flights of stairs to get t the 2nd floor.

Väldigt nära Hauptbahn hof (Centralstationen)

Helt ok för att sova. Ingen lyx, Tjock-TV. Ingen frukost tillgänglig på hotellet. Inte den bästa trådlösa uppkopplingen. Nära till centralstationen, bara över gatan. Supergod schnitzel på Bodega Nagel bredvid hotellet!

Sehr durchwachsen

Ich war schön öfters in Hamburg in div., Hotels, aber sorry, dass hier kann nicht mithalten. Für den schwindelerregenden Preis, den wir bezahlt haben für 2 Übernachtungen OHNE Frühstück, auf keinen Fall. Die Lage direkt am Hauptbahnhof ist super, sehr zentral, aber es gibt ein paar Hotels um die Ecke, da ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis besser. Das Personal war total nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel selber ist schon älters, alter Teppichboden, wildes Durcheinander von Bildern an den Wänden. Das Zimmer war klein, die Betten sauber, aber im Bad ließ sich die Duschkabine nicht schließen und das Wasser kam aus den Rohren unten am Waschbecken wieder raus. Wenn ich die Wahl für ein anderes Hotel habe, komme ich leider nicht wieder und würde es auch nicht weiter empfehlen.
