「The room and hotel is exactly what it promises. No frills and quiet (except for the occasional plane flying by). If you are in Hawaii and in Hilo you are probably not staying in your hotel a lot. You will save money on their free coffee which is actually really good and strong. Staff is polite and friendly. There are plenty of places to eat in walking distance. The property is very beautiful and the koi pond is awesome when lit up at night. 」

「Our room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet at all times of the day and night. The bartender, Lindsey, was super friendly.」

「Pros: This is our first time staying at a lodge like this, so close to nature, just like camping. You will hear coqui frog whole night & seeing them jumping next to your door step. Animals free roaming, peacocks, ducks, chicken. Kids loved it. Cons: There is barely any light at night in the Property…so if you come back late, it’s a bit challenging to find your cabin.」
