"This Margaritaville has different amenities than others, so our expectations might have been high. We were bummed to learn they do not have pool side or beach service. The pool was small, but they do have a small hot tub, however, it is older and not the best. The room we stayed in was a 2 bedroom suite, which, we absolutely loved for our family of 5. They do have a restaurant onsite, but they do not serve any food from 11am-12pm which we didn’t know and were disappointed to find out after sleeping in after long days of travel. They were very fast or help with room needs, but the staff at the front desk was consistently unfriendly. The shuttle service to Duval street was actually really nice, and one of the drivers was super friendly and told lots of fun stories. I don’t think I would stay here again knowing what I know now, but we did like our room. "

"The bathroom situation is ridiculously horrible. There is a toilet stall and a separate shower stall, both of which open directly into the room, with only a sliding door that does not fully close or lock. The door is clear, so if you turn the light on, everyone can see your shadow, and it fills the room with light. The sink is next to the bed. No privacy and the light situation means that if one person tries to shower or use the toilet, it wakes everyone else up. The elliptical and the treadmill are broken, you can use them manually but can't adjust the resistance or speed. Pretty lobby, great breakfast, but would never stay here again due to the bathroom situation."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. My room was spotless. The hotel was clean, although elevators and doors could use some windex. Loved the pool and of course the beach was gorgeous and steps from the hotel. "

"We upgraded to a nicer room upon check in that didn’t have a functioning bathroom - we brought it up several times and the staff did what they could during a busy holiday but we should never have been given that room and they didn’t move us. The credit given did not equal the cost of the upgrade."

"This hotel is located in the best area…it’s walking distance to so much…the casino the aquarium the theater of course bourbon st and also it’s close to thw steamboat lunch or dinner cruise which is a must go if visiting New Orleans."

"Room never entered for cleaning on our 3rd am. We were gone all day and even the trash was overflowing. Did have a housekeeper come up and take trash, give us new towels. Food in the restaurant was ok. Nothing to write home about. Front desk staff seemed overwhelmed during the day."

"The staff were very helpful. Valet was nice and respectful. The rooms were very clean and smelled great. I also had a nice view. Everything needed was in walking distance. The hotel gave discount cards to the neighboring food spot, Mr. Ed’s! Great place to eat. Overall 10/10 Had a great time & will be back! "
