「The check in instructions were not clear. No additional information provided such as a local number. No way to contact anyone. I was locked out. I will never rent from them again. Why they don't just offer a phone number to contact is beyond me.」

「This is a gorgeous, well appointed guest house with original art throughout. Our host Carlos was very responsive and we enjoyed the breakfasts. This property would be perfect for special occaisons, family or friends get togethers. The rooms were quiet. 」

Every morning for five days, we woke up in a beautiful, sun-filled room with high ceilings, stepped out onto the Juliet balcony overlooking a park and trees, and then headed downstairs for a breakfast with homemade bread and fresh butter, and fresh fruits and juice. 「Place was great inside, very clean and comfortable. Opening the front door was a pain with old style lock that needs the magic touch. Location is a bit out of the way due to being on a long dead end.」

「Amazing place to stay! The rooms are beautiful, actually the whole place is! The beds are probably the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. Its all the little details that make this place so incredible. The artwork, the decor, the homemade breakfasts. The owners and staff were super nice! The vila is in the small town of Colares and is a short drive into Sintra. We wanted to stay near Sintra, but wanted to avoid the crowds and Vila Vitorino was perfect!
