"The hotel is very close to the train station and also faces the bus station. It's located on the main strip vee close to multiple stores and restaurants. The facility is charming and lovely. The staff were also very helpful and kind - especially at the front desk and breakfast area. Oh and the breakfast buffet was so wonderful! So many fresh and tasty options! There is no AC in the hotel, so if the temp is hot outside ask for a fan. Note: we were in a room on the 2nd floor facing the front and there was a lack of airflow. Since it was very hot outside (heat wave in June 2026, the room was very hot with minimal airflow. A friend whose room was on another side of the building didn't have this issue."

"This place was fantastic. We had a beautiful view from our hotel balcony and the hotel is situated just a fifteen minute walk from the town centre, which worked out really well in the end as this was a more peaceful and picturesque location for the hotel. We felt very calm and at peace here. The hotel itself has been recently refurbished and the interiors were of a very high standard and were super clean. The staff were really really friendly and helpful, especially Dani at reception. Also, we found it really useful having free access to the washing machine, tumble dryer and iron downstairs where they also provide free detergent and fabric softener. I'd recommend this place to anyone and would be more than happy to come back. Five stars from me."

"One of the best hotels my family and I have stayed! Reception to check in was quick and very informative on things to do in Grindlewald. Our room- more like a 2 bedroom / 2 bath apartment was so amazing! Beds comfortable, amenities were spot on. Sauna, steam room, cold plunge , relaxation room and infinity pool was so incredible! Just wow! The view was spectacular from our suite looking right at the snow caps mountains. It seriously looked like a Hollywood set- such beauty I have never seen before. The restaurant had delicious food and wonderful hard working staff. Highly highly recommended Hotel Spinne if you ever visit Grindlewald Switzerland!"

"Nice to have breakfast included, variety of food, coffee and teas. Had laundry service if needed. Hotel staff were very accommodating. Luggage room for early arrival/late departure. Room was very small and so hot (unseasonable warm temps during our visit). Fan was provided and windows had to be opened for circulation. Bedroom overlooked the hotel service area, was very quiet and could enjoy sunset. Location is steps away from the train station. Restaurant was a nice benefit, did not dine, although had drinks. Nice balcony off the breakfast area to enjoy morning coffee or tourists come and go."

"The hotel was in a convenient location easily accessible to the train station and bus access. Grocery, restaurants and shopping were within easy walking distance and Grindelwald First Gondola was less than 1/2 a mile away. The staff were friendly and the daily breakfast was fresh and yummy! The rooms are somewhat dated with very small bathrooms but clean and functioning. Would stay again."

"This hotel is very conveniently located next to the Grindelwald Terminal. The breakfast buffet was great, the beds were comfortable, and the view of the Eiger from our balcony was stunning."
